About The Gamble Mill

The Gamble Mill Restaurant and Microbrewery, located only minutes from Penn State University and Interstate 80, combines a unique casual and historical atmosphere with bold American cuisine, an award winning wine program and in-house craft beers. The original owners spent twenty-two years creating an exceptional dining experience amidst antique timbers, aged brick, and local artwork. During this period, the Gamble Mill emerged as one of the premier dining facilities in Central Pennsyvania. Perfect for a business luncheon, wedding reception, entertaining special guests, or just a relaxing evening out, the "mill" offers both the sophistication of metropolitan dining and small-town warmth and relaxed convenience. In 2008, Dave Fonash and Paul Kendeffy, owners of Zola New Bistro, Alto Italian Restaurant, and Dos Locos Mexian Restaurant, purchased the Gamble Mill.
The Fonash.Kendeffy Restaurant Group is commited to building upon the success of the Gamble Mill and continueing to provide guests with the “Mill Experience” they have grown to love. The Group has also dedicated itself toward taking the Mill in a bit more of an Americana direction, as it relates to food, wine, and in house produced craft beer. At the Gamble Mill, diners can relax and enjoy the bold lunch or dinner menus, explore our Wine Spectaor and Wine Enthusiast award winning wine list, and enjoy our own craft beers. We offer a relaxed causal dinner menu in our full-service bar, which is one of the most unique bar areas in Centre County. This is a perfect spot for a pint or two of our craft beer. Our upstairs main dining room menu features American flavors and classic dishes. We offer professional event management for large functions and can accomidate up to 200.
